Shane is a founding partner of Hoctor Smyth and Principal Architect.
Qualifying at the Dublin institute of Technology, he is the creative driving force that has designed some of the most beautiful homes in the midlands of Ireland. Shane’s extensive architectural knowledge, successful planning record and good working relationship with local authorities make him the ideal candidate to design your new home.
His understanding of the rural environment and passion for design excellence has established a new rural narrative for house design and living in the midlands.
Prior to establishing Hoctor Smyth with Kieran Hoctor in 2007, Shane practiced in Dublin with Architectural firms Fenton Simons and Frank Ennis & Associates. Shane’s portfolio includes; hotel design, residential development, mixed-use development, commercial development and bespoke house design.
